WYNDMERE, N.D. (KFGO) – The Highway Patrol has released the names of adults involved in a crash 12 miles north of Wyndmere that injured five people including three children Friday evening.
Tamara Eppler, 56 of Wyndmere, her passengers – a 7-year-old girl and two 6-year-old boys from Lisbon, and 56-year-old Troy Holsing of Horace were hurt .
The crash happened shortly after 6 at the intersection of Highways 18 and 27.
Eppler and the children were in an SUV eastbound on Highway 27. Holsing was driving a pickup south on Highway 18.
The Highway Patrol says Eppler entered the intersection and t-boned Holsing’s pickup. Holsing had the right of way because Highway 27 has a stop sign at the intersection.
Both vehicles went into the ditch and the pickup rolled. Eppler and the children were taken to Sanford Hospital in Fargo by ambulance.
The original crash report from the Highway Patrol said the pickup struck the SUV, but that has been updated.
