MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Moorhead Area School District voters narrowly rejected a levy proposal that would have funded capital projects by generating around $43 million over 10 years.
The proposal failed by about 600 votes.
The funding would have addressed technology, facility, curriculum, and transportation needs across the district.
In 2019, voters in the school district overwhelmingly approved a $110 million bond referendum to build a new high school and career academy.
