FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man is in custody in connection with a shooting in Moorhead over the weekend.
Moorhead police say Francis Ochiti, 28, is the suspect in the shooting Saturday at a home in the 3600 block of 39th Street S.
The victim, Ochiti’s brother, identified the shooter, but said he’d fled. Ochiti’s brother was not hurt.
Officers with the Metro Street Crimes Unit arrested Ochiti without incident while conducting a search warrant Tuesday. Officers found a handgun believed to have been used in the shooting.
Ochiti is in the Cass County jail pending formal charges.
