Kane Brown’s concert at Boston’s Fenway Park went up in flames—literally. As fans grooved to country beats on Saturday night, a fire ignited on the rigging above the stage. Talk about adding some real heat to the performance! The concert had to be paused while crews heroically scaled the scaffolding to douse the blaze.
Luckily, the fire was quickly extinguished, and only a 10-minute delay ensued. I bet those begrudging boyfriends dragged to the concert were hoping for a longer reprieve! The probable culprit? Blame it on the production pyrotechnics which had been spewing flames near the fire’s origin.
This isn’t Kane Brown’s first rendezvous with first responders. In 2020, the country star got hilariously lost on his own property and had to call the cops for rescue. With 30 acres of woods and cliff drop-offs, he and his pals ran out of gas and daylight. Kane’s wife, Kate, thought he was just trying to duck out of unpacking boxes since it was moving day.
In the end, no one was injured in either incident, and Brown’s show continued without further smoky shenanigans. Fans got an extra chuckle when the first post-show song blasted through the stadium was Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire.” Well played, Fenway, well played.
