FARGO (KFGO) – A person has died after being shot in the face. Fargo police were dispatched to the 2200 block of 6th Avenue South shortly after 8 p.m. Monday on a shooting report.
The suspects had fled the scene before officers arrived.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead. The victim’s name is being withheld, pending notification of the next of kin.
Speaking with witnesses, officers believe those involved were known to each other.
Fargo Police are seeking the public’s help in locating two vehicles that were seen leaving the scene at a high rate of speed. One is a gray Hyundai Santa Fe with ND plates 628 DZR and an orange Jeep Compass with unknown license plates.
