FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KFGO KBRF) – A man died Wednesday afternoon when the tractor he was driving rolled in a ditch west of the Fergus Falls Municipal Airport.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s office says it responded to the scene along County Road 86 at about 3:35. Deputies determined that the victim, Gerald Peterson, 73, became pinned under the rear of the tractor when he left the road and went into a steep ditch. Peterson died at the scene.
Sheriff’s deputies, Fergus Falls Police, The Fergus Falls Fire Dept., Rothsay Fire Dept. and Ringdahl Ambulance responded to the scene.
