WEST FARGO (KFGO) – A man was arrested early Tuesday morning following a pursuit by West Fargo Police.
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle that was identified as stolen but the suspect vehicle fled. Officers followed to the intersection of 4th Avenue and 15th Street Northwest where the driver drove off the roadway and was taken into custody.
51-year-old Michael Samuelson, 51, of Fargo was arrested on a number of felony warrants, possession of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia, fleeing in a motor vehicle, fleeing on foot and possession of a stolen vehicle.
After the stolen vehicle came to a stop, police called firefighters as a precaution as the vehicle was overheated and there was concern of a fire but there was no active vehicle fire
