Abraham Cozzi (Clay County Jail)
MOORHEAD (KFGO) – A man was arrested Wednesday night in Moorhead following a theft and a brief pursuit.
Police were dispatched to a report of a robbery at the Starbucks in the 3200 block of Highway 10. Within minutes, officers located the vehicle in the 1200 block of 20th Street South. When they attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver fled southbound.
Police used a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle in the 2400 block of 20th Street South.
Abraham Cozzie, 52, with no permanent address, was taken into custody and transported to the Clay County Correctional Facility facing charges of Felony Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle and Misdemeanor Theft.
Police later determined that the incident was a theft and not a robbery.
