KINDRED, N.D. (KFGO) – Five fire departments battled a house fire about 10 miles south of Kindred, North Dakota, Thursday evening.
The fire was reported around 5:30 p.m. at 5590 Highway 18 Northwest.
The first fire units on the scene found the one-story home engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to rescue a small dog from the home. There were no other injuries.
The Kindred Fire Department is the lead investigator into the cause of the fire.
The Kindred, Leonard, Colfax, Davenport, Walcott Fire Departments, Kindred Ambulance, and the Richland and Cass County Sheriff’s Departments responded to the blaze.
