Brendon Parsley (Dakota Prairie School District)
LAKOTA, N.D. (KFGO) – A long-time teacher, coach and school counselor in the Dakota Prairie School District in northeastern North Dakota has been charged with solicitation of a minor, luring by computer and sexual assault.
Brendon Parsley of McVille is charged.
He was placed on administrative leave last Dec. The complaint, filed in Nelson County District Court, alleges that Parsley had sexual contact with two girls who went to him for counseling at the high school in Petersburg.
The first girl said the inappropriate conduct took place when she was a junior in the 2014-2015 school year. A probable cause summary says a second girl reported unwelcome sexual advances from Parsley when she was a sophomore in 2008.
Parsley joined the school district in the 2003-2004 school year.
One of the girls told a state crime bureau agent that Parsley manipulated and ruined many years of her life.
