HINCKLEY, Minn. – Authorities in Pine County are investigating a crash between a car and an Amish buggy that left two young children seriously injured.
The sheriff’s office says a vehicle struck the horse-drawn buggy with six people in it near Hinckley Thursday and two children, ages two and four, suffered life-threatening injuries. They were airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.
Deputies say the caller reported hitting an object in the road. No names have been released.
