MOORHEAD – What’s billed as an educational event about Palestine is being held Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Concordia College.
Organizer Heidi Soliman indicates the primary purpose is to support Palestinians in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
“…and really lift them up. They are the ones that are hurting in front of us and are losing family members in front of us,” Soliman said.
Soliman says the event is open to anyone.
“We really are hoping that local people from Fargo-Moorhead will attend this event – from the various churches, synagogues and other houses of worship – and learn more about Palestine,” Soliman said.
The event will feature five panelists from Palestine, Q&A, poetry reading and information on political action.
