CASS LAKE, Minn. (KFGO) – A Bemidji man who died after his ATV broke through the ice on Pike Bay Lake in northern Minnesota’s Cass County has been identified.
People ice fishing nearby pulled 82-year-old Thomas Steele from the water Friday morning and started first aid. Steele was taken to Cass Lake Indian Services Hospital where he later died.
His passenger also went into the water and was treated at the scene.
