WEST FARGO, ND (KFGO) – Most of the more than 60 classic and collector vehicles stored in a building that had a partial roof collapse a week ago on the Red River Valley Fairgrounds have been removed.
Fair manager Bryan Schulz says some have significant damage while others had only minor or no damage. Snow build-up caused a large section of the roof to come down.
Schulz says the fair has been contacting the owners as their vehicles are removed and most have been understanding and appreciate the work that’s been done to carefully bring them out.
The fair association does not believe it’s liable for the vehicle-damage saying the owners must sign a storage contract that says they are responsible for maintaining insurance coverage.
