ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Nobody has claimed a million-dollar lottery ticket purchased in Fridley last year, and they have until July 28 to turn it in at lottery headquarters.
State Lottery Executive Director Adam Prock said while small lottery prizes often go unclaimed, it’s unusual with such a large prize.
Minnesota lottery winners have one year to collect their money, or it goes into state coffers.
Prizes of $50,000 or more have to be claimed at the lottery headquarters in Roseville.
