MINNEAPOLIS, MN – The summer travel season is heating up at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
MSP spokesman Jeff Lea says more than 40 thousand people passed through the security checkpoints in June.
“The top 3 destinations based on the number of seats coming out of MSP are Denver, Chicago, & New York,” Lea says.
Lea adds there’s still pent-up demand for flights after the COVID pandemic. The top winter destinations for travelers at M-S-P in January were Phoenix, Denver, Atlanta, and Orlando.
