FARGO (KFGO) – City of Fargo contractors will host biweekly information meetings regarding the 32nd S Ave. reconstruction project currently underway.
The meetings will be held every other Tuesday beginning May 2 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Dr. James Carlson Library community room. The meetings will be in an open house format with representatives from the contractor, engineering firm and the city available to answer questions. The public and business owners are invited to stop in when it is convenient for them. The library is at 2801 32nd Ave. S.
The 32nd Ave. S reconstruction project includes the rebuilding 1 1/2 miles of 32nd Avenue in multiple segments from 32nd St. through University Drive. The project will provide improvements for pedestrians, drivers, and nearby landowners and businesses by updating the existing roadway, pedestrian crossings and utility infrastructure.
Segment 1 reconstruction will occur between 32nd Street S and 22nd Street S and is slated to last through the fall of 2023.
