MINNEAPOLIS – The Sanford Health and Fairview Health Systems are again delaying their proposed merger, saying they’ll provide 90-day notice of closing on the deal after a request from Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison.
In February, Fairview and Sanford pushed back their original target date for closing on the merger from March 31 to the end of May.
The health systems said they remain confident in the benefits of the merger.
