WATFORD CITY, N.D. (KFGO) – A woman is dead and a man suffered minor injuries after a shooting in Watford City Wednesday night.
According to police, officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 700 block of Main Street N. around 11:45 p.m. on a report of two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers gave medical aid to the victims who were taken to the McKenzie County Hospital in Watford City. The woman was later taken to another hospital where she died.
Police do not believe anyone else was involved in the incident. Names of the victims have not been released.
Police said the incident is under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Watford City Police Department.
