FARGO (KFGO) – No travel advisories were posted Monday afternoon for a large area of eastern North Dakota and multiple crashes were reported in the Red River Valley in both North Dakota and Minnesota.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 36-year-old Latoya Watson-Tyson was driving in the middle lane when she lost control and hit a car driving in the left lane, causing both vehicles to strike the concrete median guard rail. The car came to rest on the guardrail but the 32-year-old driver and juvenile passenger were not injured.
Watson-Tyson suffered serious injuries. Blowing snow and snow-covered road conditions were reported at the time. Cass County Sheriffs deputies and Fargo Fire assisted the North Dakota Highway Patrol in responding to the crash which remains under investigation.
