MINNEAPOLIS – A survey finds that 90 percent of Minnesota parents are in favor of comprehensive sexuality education being offered in the classroom.
The University of Minnesota survey found that parents support the idea of abstinence and science-based teaching on the subject. That would include information about puberty, reproductive anatomy, healthy relationships, and sexual abuse prevention.
Poll-takers say that level of support was seen in all eight Minnesota congressional districts.
