FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – A Ponsford man will spend more than eight years in federal prison for a violent attack on the White Earth Indian Reservation.
Twenty-two-year-old Wesley Warren was convicted for assault with a dangerous weapon and assault resulting in serious bodily injury.
Prosecutors say Warren knocked out the victim on June 3rd, 2020, and then dropped a 42-pound cinder block on the back of the man’s head while he was face down on the ground. The victim was hospitalized for several weeks due to brain trauma and later transferred to a long-term care facility.
