FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – The third annual CHARISM Over the Edge event is Thurs. in Downtown Fargo. Donors who raise at least $500 will have the opportunity to repel down the Black Building.
Trained and certified rappelling experts will be on-site as “edgers” dangle their heels over the side of the building and make the plunge to the city streets 110 feet below. Kay Leonhart, a member of the Board of Directors for CHARISM, says letting go at the top of the building is the scariest part. Leonhart is 76 and will go “over the edge” for her third time this year.
Leonhart, says 100% of the money raised goes directly to the kids.
The donations will help fund after school programs and summer camps for at-risk kids in Fargo.
