BISMARCK, N.D. – North Dakota’s Capitol in Bismarck was lit up Wednesday night with the shape of a large heart.
Hearts big and small are showing up in the windows of homes and businesses that began as a Facebook campaign started by a Bismarck woman that’s taken off nationwide. It’s dubbed #a world of hearts.
The hearts are different sizes and different colors. It is meant to show support during a time of social distancing.
The capitol’s lighted heart is easily visible on the capitol’s south side at night.
The State Capitol is the tallest building in North Dakota and is known as the “Skyscraper on the Prairie.”
