ST. PAUL, Minn. – Drought conditions continue to cover Minnesota and are getting worse.
DNR Climatologist Pete Boulay said “three months ago we had 40% of the state under moderate drought and that was all in northern Minnesota, and now in June we have 40% of the state under drought in southern Minnesota.”
Boulay says southern parts of the state could get some rain Thursday and Friday. He notes that the Rochester area hasn’t seen any rainfall this month.
