According to New York’s Governor, Andrew Cuomo, Broadway will reopen at 100 percent capacity on September 14.
Even though everything else is starting to open back up by May 19, Cuomo said theaters would need more time to properly get folks back in seats due to the logistics of producing shows at the venues.
By Sept. 14, it will be 18 full months after Broadway shut down on March 12, 2020.
