FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – Two people were seriously injured after crashing their car into a power pole at 1st Avenue and 14th Street South in Fargo.
Police say the car veered directly into the pole. The crash happened shortly after 1 p.m.
The car and the Xcel Energy power pole had major damage. The crash caused power outages in this area and Xcel was on scene working to make repairs and restore power.
Police say speed appeared to be a factor in the crash.
The driver was issued citations for failure to have the vehicle under control and driving without a seatbelt.
