GRAFTON, ND (KFGO) – A suspect is reported to be in custody after police and sheriff’s departments in northeastern North Dakota were searching for two people after what was described as a targeted drive-by shooting outside a convenience store in Grafton.
Police responded shortly before 10:30 Wed. morning to a report of gunshots.
Schools were placed in a temporary lockdown. Staff and students were told to shelter-in-place. The search was underway for the person who fired the shots and the intended victim.
Police said they are known to each other and the shooting suspect had been arrested as of late Wed. afternoon.
