Five Signs Your Dog REALLY Loves You…
- Your dog looks you straight in the eyes: When cuddling with your dog, and they gaze into your eyes – they release oxytocin – which is the same hormone that bonds mothers and babies.
- Facial expressions, body movements: Pay attention to specifics when your dog is around you only. Do they move their eyebrows a certain way? Relax their ears? Or even leaning into you?
- He / She follows your everywhere: Doesn’t matter if you’re making dinner, sending emails or pulling weeds… they always want to be with you and are interested in what you are doing.
- When you yawn, so does your fur baby: Yawning is contagious! Try it, (don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t happen right away). But, when your dog feels a strong connection – chances are they’ll yawn when you do!
- Your dog is super excited when you return home: tail wagging, jumping are just a couple of signs of how much they miss you when you’re not around!
