FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo Police say a man was arrested for reckless driving after he was clocked going nearly triple the speed limit.
The department says on Tuesday, an officer was conducting speed enforcement on County Road 81 north of 40th Ave N when he clocked a car going 116 miles-an-hour in a 40 mph zone. The driver told the officer he was running late for work. Police say they’ve received multiple complaints about speeding in the area.
Police say that while driving at 116 mph, it takes one small mistake to cause a potentially life changing crash.
