PEQUOT LAKES, Minn. (KFGO) – A 79-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a semi while riding his e-bike in Crow Wing County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the 79-year-old Pequot Lakes man was riding on the shoulder of southbound Highway 371 when he moved across all the lanes and was hit by the semi. He suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The driver of the semi, a 36-year-old Deerwood man, was not hurt.
Troopers have not identified the man killed. The crash happened just after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
