GRANT COUNTY, Minn. (KFGO) – The driver of an empty truck struck by a train in Grant County, Minnesota is found after a drone and K9 search.
Deputies responded to a railroad crossing between Barrett and Hoffman around 1:15 AM on Sunday, September 6. They say the vehicle was found around two thirds of a mile away from where it was hit.
A passenger said they and the driver tried to get the truck off the railroad tracks and separated.
After an extended search, including pinging the driver’s cell phone, the driver was found.
