MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Moorhead Police have provided more information about the search for a suspect in a shooting that happened Tuesday night.
One person was seriously injured in the shooting, Moorhead Police say the victim is a man who is currently stable and receiving medical care. Investigators interviewed the man to collect information about the shooting.
Investigators have also interviewed a witness who says the incident began with an argument that quickly escalated. A shot was fired and the suspect fled the scene in a car.
Police say the shooting was not random and those involved knew each other. It took place in the 500 block of 30th avenue south just before 8 p.m.
Police say they are continuing to investigate and search for the suspect.
