CANADA (KFGO) – On “Afternoons Live”, radio show host on CJOB in Winnipeg Richard Cloutier shared Canadians’ thoughts on President Donald Trump’s newest tariffs on Canada.
“We’re kind of tired of it. You don’t see the Manitoba plates in Grand Forks and Fargo that you used to,” Cloutier said. “A month ago I was in Grand Forks and Minnesota. It’s amazing, you get into conversations with people and how many times people apologize to you. When you go there or they come here. They say ‘We love you!'”
Cloutier said Canada has been working to reduce trade barriers between provinces and increase trade with other countries.
He added a good sign for his country surrounding trade will be if Republicans lose the House or Senate in November.
