McVILLE, N.D. (KFGO) — A Wahpeton man has serious injuries after a crash in Nelson County Monday.
It happened around 6 p.m. on a gravel road about 4 miles south of McVille. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the 54-year-old man tried to pass a slower vehicle, but visibility was reduced due to dust. The man’s pickup struck another pickup head-on. The Wahpeton man was not wearing a seatbelt.
The other driver, a 53-year-old McVille man, was not seriously hurt. Both were brought to Altru in Grand Forks.
The Highway Patrol says charges for the Wahpeton man are under investigation.
