BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – A driver in the Bismarck-Mandan area was stopped this morning by the North Dakota Highway Patrol for going 108-mph in a 55 mile-an-hour zone. The Highway Patrol says the driver was cited for speeding and reckless driving.
The Highway Patrol is reminding drivers that speed and aggressive driving plays a role in one-third of all deadly crashes. Troopers say that traveling at triple-digit speeds giver driver’s little time to react and puts everyone on the road at risk.
The driver received a $179 fine and 15 points on his license.
