COLD SPRING, Minn. (MNN) – A man is dead, and a suspect is in custody following a stabbing in Cold Spring in central Minnesota. Police say officers responded to a reported assault just after 8:30 Saturday night at a home.
They found a man with a critical stab wound and attempted lifesaving measures, but he died at the scene. A man at the residence was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail pending charges.
Authorities say the victim’s identity will be released later, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
