FARGO (KFGO) – A man was arrested in Fargo this morning after Red River Valley SWAT was activated in the 2600 block of 15th St S.. Fargo police say Jeremiah Hunter, 25, was arrested just after 8 a.m.
Fargo Police received the initial report of a disturbance involving a knife just before 5:15 a.m., when officers arrived, Hunter refused to exit a residence. Officers determined Hunter had an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault. Based on Hunter’s history and the presence of the knife, Red River Valley SWAT was activated.
SWAT teams used a flash sound diversion device as part of the effort to arrest hunter. Officers had to evacuate residents in nearby units.
Hunter is facing charges of terrorizing in addition to his outstanding warrant.
