Traffic on I-29 in Fargo affected after road buckles from heat

FARGO (KFGO) – The Highway Patrol says travel on Interstate 29 in Fargo was impacted Wednesday afternoon and evening after all four lanes buckled from extreme heat.  

It happened between Main Avenue and 13th Avenue S.  

North and southbound traffic was able to pass over the affected area slowly until around 8:15 p.m. when the Highway Patrol said the road was open to regular traffic.
