LITCHFIELD, Minn. (KFGO Learfield) – A southern Minnesota man is recovering after he was hit by a stray bullet while driving in Meeker County on Friday afternoon.
The 78-year-old man was traveling near Eden Valley when a bullet hit him in the head and face.
A deputy provided medical aid before the shooting victim was taken to the hospital in Paynesville and later airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The bullet came from someone target shooting on private property.
