A woman was injured during a fire at a home in Grand Forks this morning.
Grand Forks Fire was called just before 3:45 a.m. for a report of a structure fire at 1460 49th Ave. S.
Firefighters found smoke coming from the house. The woman was found trapped in her bedroom. She was brought to Altru hospital with unknown injuries. Several pets were also rescued.
The home has extensive fire and smoke damage. Grand Forks Fire Department responded with five engines, one truck and a command vehicle with 17 personnel.
