PERHAM, Minn. (KFGO) – A Menahga man was flown to Essentia Health in Fargo by Life Link III helicopter following a collision between two SUV’s northeast of Perham Friday morning.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says Oliver Simonson, 20, was airlifted with serious injuries.
The driver of the other SUV, 60-year-old Michelle Bond of Perham, and three juvenile passengers were taken to Sanford Perham by private vehicle. Deputies say Simonson failed to stop at stop sign at the junction of two county roads and hit the SUV driven by Bond. Both SUV’S went into the ditch and struck a utility pole.
Perham Fire and Ambulance also responded along with the state patrol. The crash took place at around 7:30.
