(KNFL/KFGO) – Former MSUM Dragon quarterback, Jack Strand, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Atlanta Falcons.
Strand has been the starting quarterback at MSUM for 4 seasons. In his sophomore season, he threw for 3,914 yards, 36 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions over 11 games. Those stats would lead him to being named MSUM Athlete of the Year, the NSIC Offensive Player of the Year, and first-team All-NSIC. He had 13,186 passing yards in his college career, which is also 10th in Division II history. Strand also had 126 career touchdowns.
Strand will be joining a crowded quarterback room in Atlanta, which includes Michael Penix Jr., and Tua Tagovailoa.
