The Concordia Cobber women’s basketball team’s magical run came to an end Saturday night falling to second-ranked and undefeated Scranton 67-42 in the NCAA Division 3 Elite Eight round of the tournament. The Cobbers had 20 turnovers which let led to 21 points that told the story of the game for the Lady Royals victory. It was a banner year for the Cobbers winning the MIAC regular season championship, posting three wins in the NCAA playoffs and finishing with 26 wins. All three accomplishments are among the Top 5 seasons in program history.
