FARGO (KFGO) – The Fargo Fire Department quickly got a vehicle fire under control at a busy intersection on the south side of town.
Battalion Chief Joe Mangin says Fargo Fire was dispatched to 25th Street and 32nd Avenue South at 8:52 a.m. Thursday.
When crews arrived on scene, the interior of a white SUV was engulfed in flames.
It took just 6 minutes from the initial 911 call to get the fire out. Firefighters had the fire extinguished by 8:58 a.m.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but there were no reported injuries.
The car was towed from the scene and traffic at the intersection was back to normal by 9:35 a.m.
