Semi crash west of Steele, ND on March 26, 2026 (NDHP)
STEELE, N.D. (KFGO) – Interstate-94 is closed west of Steele, North Dakota for an injury crash involving multiple vehicles. Steele is between Bismarck and Jamestown.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 6:00 a.m. Thursday.
A semi tipped and is blocking both westbound lanes.
Troopers say the interstate will be closed for an extended period of time as crews work to clear the scene and investigate the crash.
A detour is in place. Drivers going west should exit at Old Highway 10 at exit 195 and plan for delays.
