MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Wednesday was another another busy day for state troopers in west central and central Minnesota.
Patrol Sergeant Jesse Grabow says at one point, troopers had responded to about a dozen crashes that included spin-outs, vehicles off I-94 and rollovers. He says wheel-track ice had formed on the freeway.
The trouble spots extended for about 200 miles, from Moorhead to St. Michael northwest of the Twin Cities. In some cases, Grabow says drivers were going too fast for the conditions.
