WEST FARGO (KFGO) — A West Fargo Police officer has been placed on administrative leave after he was arrested for driving under the influence.
Officer Luke Schany, who lives in Fargo, was arrested early Sunday morning by a Cass County Sheriff’s deputy. Schany’s vehicle left a road and slid into a ditch.
Chief Pete Nielsen says an internal investigation is underway. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
Schany, 23, began working for the West Fargo Police Department in 2022 as a community service officer. He started as a patrol officer last year.
