MINOT, N.D. (KFGO) – A 21-year-old Minot man is dead after a police pursuit and crash southwest of Minot over the weekend.
The Highway Patrol says around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Minot Police were in a vehicle pursuit of a suspect involved in felony domestic violence. The suspect was speeding west on Ward County Road 14 and continued onto a gravel road where he lost control of his car.
The car went into the ditch and rolled. The driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to Trinity Hospital in Minot where he died.
The man’s name has not been released. The highway patrol says he was not wearing a seatbelt.
The crash is under investigation.
