WEST FARGO (KFGO KVRR) – A student at West Fargo High School has been taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE.
Sources say the student was on their way to an immigration hearing in Grand Forks when they were detained by officers. Their identity and further details have not been released.
West Fargo Public Schools said in an official response to KVRR that they have general awareness of the situation, but because it did did not occur on district property or at a school-sponsored event, they are not in a position to provide comment.
ICE has yet to provide any information.
